After the Theatre Academy in Stockholm, Steve Kratz has worked as a freelance actor in several theatres, films and television series over the past 25 years. He has had roles in both television and film in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Theatre jobs have mostly been based in Stockholm with a variety of roles at the Royal Dramatic Theatre during most of the nineties and now at Stockholm Stadsteater for the last 14 years. Plays who distinguished themselves are for example Personkrets 3: 1 written and directed by Lars Norén and Kalevala, directed by Lars Rudolfsson. As for television and film Steve has had, among other things, supporting roles in SVT production Inspector Van Veteren director Martin Asphaug, featurefilm Blackjack director Colin Nutley and starred in the film Half the truth, directed by Lars Johansson. With an infinite number of dubbing productions for children and commercial speakerjobs Steve is also one of Swedens most sought after voice actors.
